In March 2016, Detroit Diesel updated the camshaft and idler gear designs. Using an older EPA10 tool on a newer GHG17 engine will result in the exhaust camshaft being approximately one-half tooth out of time. Our dual-sided tool ensures you have the correct alignment for either design.
