This engine barring tool is designed for use on Detroit Diesel DD13, DD15, DD16, MBE 4000, and MBE 900 engines, as well as select Mercedes-Benz Actros, Atego, MAN 5-, 6-, and 8-cylinder engines including D25/D28 applications.

It is used to rotate or “bar over” the engine during service procedures, helping position the engine correctly for inspection, adjustment, repair, and maintenance work. The tool installs to engage the flywheel teeth and allows the engine to be rotated using a standard 1/2" drive wrench or hand tool.
